Winner's of Challenge #56 - Fall

Hello to all of our peeps out there! Sorry this post is late but today has been a bit of a weird day but a good one spent with my fellow DT Lori. My internet is so slow that turtles are moving faster. Thank you so much to everyone who played with us for our FALL challenge. We had an outstanding amount of entries with 94. Winner of Challenge #55 - Embossing

Good Afternoon from a sunny but bit blustery central Alberta. Here is to hoping you all are getting a touch of summer still. We are with a temperature of 22 Celsius right now.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU all for coming out and making our choice of picking winners such a super hard one...LOL. We had witches hats, pumpkins, party favors for a little Christmas treat, scrapbook layouts and cards each and everyone entered has fabulous dry or heat embossing on. The inspiration you all got from the embossing challenge is awesome. Thanks for sharing your idea's because each week we all find something new to think about and try. We love the uniqueness of your techniques and inspiration each week. On to our winner's:

Yummy Christmas colors they are bold and light which just look fabby together and who doesn't love a cute snowman. The snowflake embossing folder really adds a super pop to your layout and brings the snowman and buttons front and center.

Oh what a fabby party embossing folder it sure adds even more pop to your card! It works so perfectly with your birthday card. Loving the colors you chose, the little details like the stars and the fact that you used in your layout scalloped circle as a border to your image, which by the way is wonderfully colored.

Challenge #55 Embossing

Good morning to you! Today is Thursday and you know what that means....a new challenge here at 4 Crafty Chicks and it is almost the weekend again...LOL. Your host today is me, "Tamie".

We are on Challenge #55 Embossing (Heat or Dry). As you know, I am one who just loves using my embossing folders to add texture and I also love heat embossing. It can add a touch of elegance and add wow factor. Please come and join us...show us what embossing inspires in you.

On my card I used Swiss Dots and Stripes embossing folders. It is hard to see but I used my versamark pen over my image and heat embossed clear embossing powder over it to give it a pop.

Good Wednesday morning! Today is cloudy with a touch of sun and windy but boy oh boy does it ever feel cold. The tree's sure are turning and it is starting to feel a whole lot like fall *oy*.

The 4 Crafty Chicks are CELEBRATING!!!

What are we celebrating, you ask?? Well, the 4 Crafty Chicks are celebrating our FIRST Anniversary this week and we are so excited to have shared one year of fabulous challenges with you all. We certainly couldn’t have made it through the year without the support of all of our participants. The Design Team would like to thank everyone who has enthusiastically participated in our challenges over the last year – especially when they were *really* challenging challenges! We all have so much fun visiting your blogs to see what you have created week after week and hope to have another fun-filled year of crafty goodness... with a few surprises thrown in!!

This week’s challenge theme is “Celebrate” and the Chicks have made some pretty awesome cards – remember... the theme can be interpreted many different ways so please have fun with it!

As another way to celebrate and say THANK YOU to everyone, we have put together a Blog Hop for you this week and here’s the low-down:

• Each Chick has graciously donated a prize to be given to one lucky Blog Hopper who leaves a comment on the Chick’s blog. The winners will be chosen by each Chick using Random.org.

• To be eligible to win Blog Hop prizes, participants must: (a) become a follower of the 4 Crafty Chicks blog; (b) leave a comment on each of the Chicks’ blogs; AND (c) leave a comment on the 4CC blog.
