Winter Wonderland!

Welcome back to 4 Crafty Chicks.  My name is "Tamie" and I get to be your hostess this week. One of the best parts of Thursday is being able to share a new challenge with all of you! Thanks to everyone who played with Melissa sketch last week, the creations were fantastic.

Well I don't know about all of you but right now here in Alberta we have been getting a taste of winter. We have had rain/snow pellets, small snowflakes, along with huge fluffy snowflakes.  The ice crystals on the trees have been completely fabulous and truly a gorgeous picture to look at every day.  On the down side the roads have been crazy icy and pretty treacherous to drive on.  Winter is a time where we bring out the hot drinks, ice skate, snow shoes, skiing, snowmobile and oh so much more.  It is a time to have snowball fights, a chance make snow angels or for some of us a time to hunker down and craft.  Truly as we are coming into a new season it is one that is hard but also so beautiful.  Have you guess what my challenge is yet?

4CCC-115 {Getting Sketchy}

Hello everyone! Melissa here to be your hostess-with-the-mostest for this week's 4 Crafty Chicks' Challenge.  I've created a sketch for you to manipulate and add your own, personal creative flair to:

As always, don't feel limited to the shapes on the sketch - a sketch is just a *suggestion* so as long as we can see the basic sketch elements, you are good to go.

For my card, I used some glittered chipboard letters in place of the star and a sentiment banner instead of the arrow:
